Jerry O'Keefe has shaped over 25,000 surfboards over the past 25 years while shaping for labels such as Hobie Surfboards, Stewart Surfboards, Dewey Weber, Timmy Patterson, Lost Surf Boards & Hurley. Jerry O'Keefe currently shapes for a number of surfboard companies such as Dewey Weber & Hurley; as well as, his own label Soul Stix! His surf boards have been ridden by pros such as Kelly Slater, Rob Machado, Mick Fanning, Brett Simpson, Yadin Nicol, Jim Hogan, Neco Padaradtz, Dillon Perillo, Chase Brady, Brad Ettinger, Brian McNulty, David Nuuhiwa, Damien Hobgood, Martin Potter, Nat Young, Herbie Fletcher, Rory Russell & others. You can find his surfboard ridden by some of the best at Trestles & Huntington Beach on a daily basis.
Jerry O'keefe currently uses two shaping options. His boards are either shaped totally by hand or he can utilize his CAD design, CNC state of the art shaping machine the APS3000 (see video). This state of the art machinery offers precision dimensions & the opportunity to recreate your favorite surfboard. The APS3000 (see video) provides cutting services as well as design & shaping, it is currently being utilized by Superstix, Hamish Graham, Dewey Weber, Lost, Hurley & Soul Stix. Giant surf board manufacturers such as Al Marrick, . . . Lost surfboards & others begin the process of building surfboards with super surf board blanks that Jerry O'Keefe designed. Jerry O'Keefe also designs and shapes blanks for Surf Blanks America, one of the leading surfboard blank manufacturers in the world.
